Patrol Outing! Water-playing, basketball-playing, frisbee-playing, pretzel-playing! Grabbing onto the plate while eating pizza so pretzel won't get his hands on them, booking for the games room and not turning up even for a minute, scaring ourselves with The Maid and screaming our lungs out while scaring pretzel so much he hid under the sofa, celebrating NienPing's and my birthdays with a cake so expensive it broke our ever so rich patrol fund, forcing me to look the initially scary pretzel in the eyes romantically. Hahaha, the day was so fun-filled and memorable, despite the tiring fact of staying up the night before to complete camp galore structure, in fact any day with the patrol is. >< *P.S. Monique's house is huge, pretty and finally a landed property with no (little) lizards! =)

Camp Galore. A month. Two weeks. That's how long (short) it was. From the planning stage. Meetings in family lounge, rejecting proposals, mix-matching proposals, accepting proposals. Cramping in the den, discussing details, picking up gadget poles, measuring gadget poles. Sending proposals to seniors, hoping for improvements, taking in their advices and suggestions, smiling at their encouragements. To the practical stage. Buying materials, drilling holes in the board, sawing sticks to exact measurements. Meetings in cybercafe, spreading materials all over the area, starting work anxiously. Putting miniature poles together, tying on nylon threads, completing a knot, a lash. Coping with a 6cm long pole with two pairs of thick fat hands, trying to replace our hands with thin tweezers, making miniature pots and pans out of aluminium foil and paint. Camping in macdonald's for more than 12 hours a day for the whole week of holidays, looking at the sky turning for bright to dark, packing to go home just to continue into the early hours of the morning. To the day before submission and the day itself. Reaching macdonald's at 8am, bringing the materials to team-mates, helping out for even just that hour, going to school for council camp, returning in the night from bbq, finding team-mates still burying their heads in the structure, begging parents to stayover for a night, staying-over for the night, ordering macdonald's in the midnight, staying up till the morning, bringing the materials to macdonald's again, touching up for the very last time, walking to school as a team, leaving the structure on the teachers' table, worrying if the teacher will remember, unbearing to leave the structure, afraid of not being able to see it again. All was done willingly, unconditionally, hoping that standards will be brought up. We had disagreements, we had arguments, we had failures, we had grumbles, we had fun, we had laughter, we had success, we had cheers. It was all not easy, but we did it, together. A light pat on the back, a simple msg on the phone, a small word of encouragement, a whole lot of differences it made. Thanks to all CG-mates, we had great times together, and they will live on as memories in our hearts.

Council Day Camp! A day of fun and laughter! Lectures and talks, bonding games, a station game with two yellow-badge exco members trying to slow us down and stopping us from 'bombing' the stations, a bbq at Heidi's house. From the learning to the playing, from the mental exhaustion to the physical exhaustion, from the running to the eating, from the 'beautiful' singing to the cultured chess games, from the working together combining forces to complete a task to the Amanda Lau's success in deterring us from 'bombing' stations, it was all with laughters. I miss it. "The council is a group of fun-loving ppl who enjoys both the work and the play."

Happy Birthday! Haha, this year’s birthday was quite fun, I guess? >< On the run early in the morning once I sensed something was ‘not too right’. Haha. Well, got ‘caught’ in class and birthday song was sang with the birthday cake. Hm, surprisingly, my birthday was celebrated by MANY, apart from my classmates and the ‘masterminds’ (haha), unknowns, okay fine, known but those who ‘wouldn’t be there under ‘normal circumstances’’ appeared that morning! Haha, reason being? The existence of male creatures in my class. Hah, hwa chong exchange program. My class was sure happening this week yea, with desperate ppl, even the green and white badges, appearing FREQUENTLY outside my classroom! Maybe sn’s really desprived! Opps, haha. Btw, SOMEONE said this to me this morning, “Wow, you are very lucky eh? Have the hwa chong guys singing birthday song for you!” Believe me, she said this out of jealousy and with total sarcasm. -.- Anyway, back to topic, went home and realized my mum bought the same cake that appeared in class that morning! Haha! Thanks to all my family members and friends! Thanks for all presents, well-wishes and hugs! Love you all! =)!

Student Council Phototaking. Previous prefectorial and monitorial board to be replaced by new student council board. Funny happenings, two types of ppl, those asking for more daring poses and those rejecting daring poses. Haha, quite a fun day. =)

Chinese New Year: Reunion dinner, sparklers-playing!-cum-Grandpa's Birthday! =) A rare opportunity for my whole family to bond I guess? A simple family I have, we might not be financially accomplished, but surely emotionally. Let's treasure our family before it's too late for us to regret not doing so. =) *P.S. More than half the photos posted are of Glenda! Youngest being the cutest I guess? =)
